Hi everyone! My name is Gloria Lassich. I will occassionally post here, but I mostly blog over on my blogspot blog, which is a place for my random interests & ramblings. Hope it's not too boring, lol. But for now, a little bit about me.

I'm a Jehovah's Witness, I got baptized July 1, 1995, & I auxiliary pioneer occassionally. My Sister & I were in an acoustic folk band called "Kaleidoscope".

I am an artist, mostly digital. For fine art I prefer to work with Charcoal on textured paper. I also like playing w/makeup. I'm a published poet. I like to read Sci-Fi, classic mysteries (Sherlock Holmes), medical thrillers, along with other genres.

Not too long ago I started getting interested in Doctor Who (Seasons 1-4). So far, I'm really loving it! I'm very much a newbie though, so there's a lot of episodes I haven't seen. I'm also a Trekkie, I love both the Original Series as well The Next Generation. The original Star Wars Trilogy is great too. I'm a Sci-Fi lover.

I also really want to get into doing crafts & I've been looking up all kinds of possibilities online. I used to love crochet, but my worsening arthritis & tight ligaments prevents me from doing it for very long. I wind up pretty frustrated w/it, so I'm going to figure out a different craft to take up. We'll see what comes of it. :)

The Moody Blues are my favorite band. We've seen them twice in concert, so far. I also like (in random order) The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, & many more too numerous too mention (& because I'm drawing a blank at the moment, lol). I like a wide variety of music, but I especially like Classic Rock (60s-70s).
